A Rated
Need a cooker that’s kind to the planet and your bills? You won’t have to look any further than the handy energy rating. With a range of A+++ to D, you can easily compare how energy efficient each appliance is – those ranked A and above are the best in the biz.
Cast Iron
Gas burners have pan supports to keep your cookware steady as you stir. Most models have pan supports made from durable cast iron, while others are made from enamel or stainless steel.
Dual Fuel
There are three main different fuel types to choose from when it comes to your cooker - electric, gas and dual fuel. Electric cookers are easy to use, and most have a fan to spread heat evenly. Gas is great for traditional cooking and delivers precise results, while dual fuel gives you the best of both worlds – you can have an electric oven with a gas hob, for example. Neat.
Hardwired (above 3kW) & Gas
You’ll need the electrical connections to be within 1.5 metres of where it’s being installed. Anything below 3kW can use a standard 13Amp fuse – that’s a regular plug socket. For anything above 3kW, you’ll need a 16Amp or 32Amp fuse, thats the big red switch on the wall. Don’t worry, it’s easy to find the info you need, just take a look at our product pages.
